It's a lovely story (of course it's an old story as it's from October 2008, but for some reason it's trending high on the BBC News website again today) and nice to see it again :-)
As a technical author, it's always the sort of thing that strikes fear in the heart, showing what can happen to your finely crafted prose ;-)
It was linked on a LJ language site yesterday, which I think might have upped the numbers a bit.
I just love that the guy had a Welsh-only holiday message on his machine. You'd think being a translation service and all he might have thought to include all languages he was translating to/from!
It has been riding high on the BBC for about 4 days for some reason. Mind you I clicked on the link as I thought it was a different example so I and all of us are keeping it up there I guess.
