One of the many things that I love about my Annette is that she has a very compassionate, pragmatic ethical sense,  not governed by any arbitrary moral dogma but firmly based in natural justice and a desire to do the least possible harm and the most good. It's a quality that I admire enormously.

I will often sit and watch five or six episodes in a row of a TV show I like. However, I can seldom raise the will to watch a 1½ - 2 hour movie, even though it may be just as good or better drama, and the same or even less of a time investment in passive entertainment ( Read more... )
