Room 324, Late Friday evening

It had been a long week of research. A lot of hours spent in the library , some frantic research and herb picking, a quick lesson on how to make a cure out of tea, and a voicemail later and Peter was exhausted. He made sure to drink some of the cure himself. That would probably stay in his mouth for weeks. Ugh. At least it covered up the vomity

"If you start tryin' to feel guilty hooskspider I am goin' to fly to Virginia an' kick you inna knees. You know I will. But yay for your underwear. What're you gonna do to Jamie? Somethin' good, I hope."

[peter__parker]

"I'm not going to feel guilty, I swear," Peter promised. "As for Jamie, I have plans. I think we all need the kind of laugh that can only be had when Jamie Madrox wakes up floating in the duck pond."

"That's my man," Zero said. "Best of luck. Take pictures for me."

[peter__parker]

"Thank you," Peter said. "And you know I will. I wonder if I'll be able to find room for them in the paper."

[swerval_zero]

"If you do, send me a copy?" Zero wheedled. "Pretty please?"

[peter__parker]

"Of course!" Peter said. "It's not funny unless it's shared across the multiverse."

[swerval_zero]

"'at's the spirit," Zero said. "Should I let you go? You sound tired."

[peter__parker]

"It's probably a good idea. You know, especially if I'm going to wake up really early to get Jamie," Peter said. "Thank you for calling. You've helped me out so much right now."

"Call me if you need to talk," Zero offered. "Any time. Not like I keep reg'lar hours, n' Janine'll get over it. Swerval?"

[peter__parker]

"Swerval," Peter said, sure that it didn't sound nearly as cool coming from him. "I love you so much. Talk to you later."

Zero thought it sounded pretty swerval, actually. "I love you, too, hooskspider. Take care. Bye."
