I finally rode my motorcycle to work on Tuesday, and I plan on doing so tomorrow (well, later today I guess) since it's not supposed to rain. Riding is a blast - I can't wait until it's warm out.

ah, the late evening (early morning?)
I've been up until 2-3am for the past couple nights (mostly because I'm a whimp now when it comes to caffeine, and a couple glasses of soda keeps me up forever these days)... it's been a good few days
At long last, my Ninja 500 has arrived! Well, more like I finally got off-call, insurance, a cashiers check, and went to union city to pick it up from the dude I bought it from. 2002, 11k miles, couple extras (upgraded exhaust, frame sliders, nothing big). Hurray, passed the MSF course thingy! I aced the test, and did pretty well on the riding portion (those u-turns in a small box killed me, did fine on the rest). Hopefully checking out a ninja 500 tomorrow, hurray. I can't believe I'm going to actually get a bike - I've wanted one for so long.

Friday is moving day. I took Thursday and Friday off, I really need to pack.
Tomorrow is my first (of four) MSF course. Bike sooo soon.
Work is so incredibly busy, I can't really afford to take two days off, but I have to move. It'll be a good break, I guess, although I'll probably just end up doing work anyway from home.

I move in a week (well, Friday or Saturday... need to fix up some scheduling with the movers), hurray! The apartment complex is fairly new, so unfortunately many map databases don't include it. This makes it a particular pain in the ass (maps.google.com doesn't know about it; sbc.com doesn't think it's a valid service address, etc ( Read more... )
