Terribly sorry to hear about your computer and uncle. The latter of which looks absolutely hilarious and makes me want to start drawing my own relatives and post them on LJ.
If he lasts until summer I could see him then. It just would have been nice to see him now when he's still completely lucid and not skeletally thin. :S

The school would let me, but work's another story. And unfortunately, Illinois to Montana is more like 700, so a trip out there couldn't be a quick weekend thing. I'm not sure why it's so expensive; maybe it's just an unpopular route.
My sympathies. Dying is for other people's family members, not ours. Not even fair. :( Mine's still hobbling along for the moment. They've got him on painkillers and his sister's feeding him a lot of asparagus, since that's supposed to help...? Oh well. He likes asparagus, so whatever.
It's pete-the-beet, 'cause I'm creative and this username I came up with at four in the morning because it rhymed is apparently going to follow me to the grave. I literally haven't done anything with it yet, though. The TF2 disk I was trying to use is all fucked up somehow, so I finally just caved and downloaded the damn thing. So I can find new and exciting ways to kill myself in your general vicinity this week...?

Don't schools let you go visit sick relatives though? I mean, a plane ticket's what, about 200 round way if you go supercheap?
