i don't like the term common sense, it brings to mind Alf Garnett and his idea of "its bloody common sense innit" and is just a way of justifying something while trying to avoid having to prove it.
Unfortunately we live in a world where foreign policy is dictated by economic policy and the interests of large corporations who finance the ruling parties. Where political diversity has changed to political consistancy to match the relatively narrow minded conservative views of the average voter.
The smell of coffee is the smell of large corporations and exploited 3rd world farmers. Its the kind of world that encourages some folks to believe in radical and extreme solutions to insolvable problems. Wake up and smell the napalm fumes, to some it smells of victory, to others burning rice fields and homes and family.
