What an absolute disappointment, we finally got all the way down and just as the tunnels promised into something good, we found that the authorities had deliberately collapsed the only entrance tunnel and barricaded it. 2 inches of steel plate and at least 40 tonnes of sand and rock can put an end to your fun real damn fast

Unfortunately, since that expedition we had found out that the THREE subterranean levels that still had all the heavy machinery still in place had been completely filled with sand and rubble (A deliberate act) by Western Power to both prevent unauthorised entry and to reduce the risk of collapse.

I checked out your website and also you have written that you want to find like-minded people to explore abandoned places, I'm one of them. I've been to the powerstation only once with a few friends but it was a quick visit, basically a walk in and out. I've also gained an interest in photography and have been asking around for info on good gear to start out.

Being an avid explorer of the abandoned buildings and other places one shouldn't be it since a young age I would appreciate if someone could hook me up with GPS coordinates?
