I wrote this back in December (23rd at 2:03am to be exact).

1) You are still very young.

2) Phenylethylalanine is a hell of a drug.

3) I wish I could remember the exact quote, but as commonreader told me when I was feeling similarly angsty, a well loved woman will always be the most beautiful in the room - so you can put away your fears.

finding happiness in yourself and not in others is a challange....but I can tell you, it feels wonderful to be alone and feel that.

you are in the mental rut (or were in) that i was in also for the last 10 years, and i *just* broke it. not that it was a conscious effort..it partly was, but my unconscious intent was the one that stepped in; that more or less means that whatever need i may have had fulfilled with someone in my life to think of me as not me but us was exhaused and not fulfilling anymore. but when i was with someone, it was for a minimum of 2 years - OVER AND OVER again ;) sounds like you didn't put yourself into a de facto long term status with someone who wasn't right for you (like i did..yay:p) - so that's a +1 for you..and then you're not quite 30 (but so what if you were - i am) so it's never too late to reform and make some changes. or have you already and this entire comment is moot? ;)

*hugs*

I often feel the opposite.

I know you're not necessarily looking for advice, but if I had one bit to give it would be this: take care of yourself. nothing will make you feel older than losing your health.
