I'm half expecting that the Doctor will meet her under a different name and won't know that it's her at all until it's too late. He has no idea what she actually looks like, after all...

Yes, it occurred to me that he wouldn't recognise her face...

That just seems like the easy "maximum drama" sort of thing to do. Knowing Moffat, though, it'll be more puzzling than that--LOL.

True - the man's fond of timey-wimeyness for a start...

The way I took it(and it should be taken with a LARGE grain of salt), she won't be playing the same role.

No one complain with Freema played 2 diffenent roles on the show.
Karen has played 2 diffenrent roles on the show,

I'm not complaining about JLC playing two different roles. I WANT her to play two different roles. Much as I loved Oswin, I don't want her as the companion knowing that she'll be turned into a Dalek which is a Fate WORSE than death!

True, I think I hear/read that she will a character by the name of Gemma or something like that.

But I'm most likely wrong on the name.

According to what I've seen the new companion's called Clara.

I am completely horrified at the idea that JLC could be back as Oswin. I kinda freaked out after I watched the episode that this was going to be the case when JLC returns. It's just horrendous. It's everything I don't want for a companion. It's not something I have any interest watching even though I love JLC and enjoyed Oswin. It is a horrible fate to promise a companion - to promise viewers. I dread to think of children watching ( ... )

Er, Oswin didn't sound anything like Amy - who regularly sounds Scottish. In fact, I can't say that I noticed that those four characters sound like each other at all - either in their accents, or the style in which they speak.

I don't see how Oswin can have saved herself, given the Daleks were busy blowing up the Asylum - not unless she pulled a Dalek Sec and used an emergency temporal shift... And even then I'm not sure that would've worked!
