DW - Spoilers
Quite enjoyed last night's ep - apparently coming at the episode as if it's just a show you quite enjoy is the way to enjoy it (rather than coming at it as a rabid fan).
BUT...
Am I the only person who's actually APPALLED at the (unconfirmed) idea of JLC coming back as Oswin when she takes over as Eleven's companion? Because it seems as if no one else finds the idea AT ALL horrifying. It's one thing to know a companion's going to die ahead of them actually travelling with the Doctor (River), but to know they're going to be turned into a DALEK which is a fate WORSE than death...
Frankly, if Moffat goes there, I'll eat my hat. Much as I did quite like Oswin (though fewer references to her genius would have pleased me more!), I don't want to see Oswin travelling with Eleven *knowing* that she's going to be turned into a Dalek. That's a bloody awful thing to promise - especially to kids.
Please note - I haven't seen any spoilers or anything about the rest of the season (except that A&R are leaving and JLC's playing the new companion) so please don't spoil me if you know stuff about the rest of the season!
