Originally this was, apparently, 30 Awesome Women of SF - but it got mutated into 30 Awesome Women of TV by some adherents of the meme. Personally, I've opted for 30 Awesome Women Characters - most of them *are* TV (or TV show-related) characters, but a very few are book characters

An excellent choice to begin celebrating awesome women! Alesha is a great character, and I love how Freema brings her to life on the screen.
