Originally this was, apparently, 30 Awesome Women of SF - but it got mutated into 30 Awesome Women of TV by some adherents of the meme. Personally, I've opted for 30 Awesome Women Characters - most of them *are* TV (or TV show-related) characters, but a very few are book characters ( Read more... )

When I saw women of SF, I immediately thought San Francisco. I guess you can tell how much I miss the San Francisco Bay Area (we moved from there 2.5 months ago)...

Alesha is the prosecutor of pwnage. When she did the questioning, George was looking on so proud, almost like she is a daughter to him.

So is Hackney kinda like one of the "'hood areas" in London?
When I visited, I stayed right near Pimlico. You have NO idea how much I loved London. People were intrigued by my slight Southern accent :) I was pissed I had to go home.

I haven't even seen Skeletons and I am already disappointed by his departure

Alesha is totally Prosecutor of Pwnage... George definitely regards Alesha as a daughter - just like Ronnie does.

Yup, Hackney is a bad neighbourhood - it's one of the traditional "black" areas of London.

Skeletons is awesome - but bittersweet...

Gotcha. Equivalent to Oakland or Richmond in the San Fran Bay Area (I'm black and there are some parts I wouldn't even set foot in, LOL)
