Great quotes!

And I've been meaning to go back through your old entries and find the one where you quoted the Doctor introducing Romana to Charley, because I love the way he does it, side-stepping any potential ship-wars! And now you saved me the trouble.

And, yes, Lucie and Eight are great fun. :-)

Thanks...

I haven't quoted Eight introducing Charley to Romana anywhere else but here...

Eight and Lucie are fab!

Eight and Lucie are. :-)

Ah. I thought you'd quoted it ages ago when you do a relisten marathon to Neverland, Zagreus and Scherzo, but maybe someone else mentioned it at the same sort of time. I wouldn't have got very far if I had looked, then...

Oh! I thought you meant that you thought I'd quoted it as part of this current BF Meme - which I didn't. It's quite possible I quoted it when I did my reaction post for my marathon relisten...

Sword of Orion

Eight: Good old logic. The last refuge of a cybernetic scoundrel.

Wasn 't there a a reference to this line, with a little twist in Human Resources (which I re-heard on the weekend). Can't recall it exactly now ... but I thought there was.

I'm glad you wrote down the sarcasmo quote. I wasn't quick enough to note it. I liked it. Especially the barbs.

Also: "Take a letter Ms. Miller." "I'll take 4 letters and make a word out of them if you're not careful!"

I love all of Lucie's references to the guy's tinfoil hat in Blood of the Daleks.

Neverland has been in my (re)listening queue since March ... and it's slowly moving to the top! (Doing "Girl Who Never Was" atm ... as the bookend to "Storm Warning".)

I don't remember hearing one. Which isn't to say there wasn't...

The pause/play button is my friend!

I see! I love Neverland for how Eight persists in winding up Nosebung, I mean Coordinator Vansell. :D

Ok ... someone needs to transcribe almost ALL of "The Girl Who Never Was". It's non-stop quote spam. Especially Eight and Old "Mrs. Charlotte Pollard".

But the CYBERMEN(!?!) get the best line:

Cybermen: YOUR BODIES ARE NEEDED.
Man: Bodies? What are you going to um going (mumble)
Boy: Th-they're PIRATES in the white slave trade!
Man: Pirates is it, eh? But there ain't no women here.
Cyberman: CYBERMEN DO NOT DISCRIMINATE BY GENDER
Man: Oh clor ...

....

Cyberman: YOU WILL ALL BE CONVERTED
Man: Converted?!? He doesn't mean ääm (mumble mumble)
Charlie: QUIET! You!

(I do like how the Cybermen and the Daleks have the same voice in NuWho and BFA ;->)
