A doctor for the Doctor. He needs it right then, someone to calm him down and get him to see reason. Glad Martha is a good friend and ready shoulder for him.

Smart TARDIS to take him there instead of his destination! I can't imagine that Martha would have been very pleased to see the Doctor in the state he's in at the end of WoM; I really like that you've woven the CoE events into this as they make a nice parallel to WoM.

Fortunately the TARDIS had more sense than the Doctor at that moment. And no, I don't think Martha would be too impressed with him at the end of WoM...

Martha would've told Tom what was going on in her regularly scheduled phone call to him - after all, he's back in Africa again, since their wedding and honeymoon - so it makes little difference to him whether she's in England, New York or outer space!

So glad to see Martha tempering the Doctor when he needs her most. It is sad that he will, in reality, probably die alone (because this is Russell T 'ZOMG THE DOCTOR IS SO TRAGIC!!1111!' Davies), but it's nice to imagine him there with Martha instead.

I know. I'm really annoyed that Rusty's probably going to be doing that to Ten - I don't see that it's necessary when, as Sarah Jane said, he's got such a big family on Earth. :(

But in my head, Martha'll be there to hold his hand and help him through...
