He totally would - because sometimes he's just that hopeless! And yes, Martha is rational and calm - but someone has to be!

He wouldn't even be ignoring her calls on purpose. He just... wouldn't notice. It kind of goes along with this whole elaborate personal theory I have where he spends all of Children of Earth screening Jack's phone calls.

No - he just turned the phone off for whatever reason, and then totally forgot about it, so it's been sitting ignored in his jacket pocket for some time!
