I don't know where to begin with this chapter! Two of my favourite ships in one, I think I might die of squee here!

I love how Martha showing him she won't take nonsense made him all: I like you. It really makes me wish she had been there instead of Rose because I think she would have changed him for the better in her own arse kicking way instead of being a damsel in distress. Not naming names though :)

I think so. Both of them love the Doctor, both of them are in another relationship, and yet they clearly care deeply about each other (and I'm sure Jack would want more if Martha were willing...)

Well, that was an interesting meeting between Nine and Martha. It amkes me wish that they had started traveling in the show before Rose. And Jack and Martha: what a complex relationship that is.

I liked how you wrote the moments between Martha and Jack. Their relationship is always interesting to explore considering what they have in common (the unresolved issues with the Doctor). Martha/Jack was a welcome surprise when I was expecting only Nine and Martha. Love how Martha didn't take any crap from Nine. Things definitely would have been different if Nine had traveled with Martha instead of Rose.

Thanks. Yes Martha/Jack is a most complicated relationship - almost as complicated as Martha/Doctor.

Martha has the advantage, with Nine, of having already known the Doctor and knowing full well not to put up with his cr4p!
