I can't imagine they won't release it on DVD - they'd be insane to miss out on the massive market (because I'm pretty sure everyone who's seen it would want the DVD too!)
All sounds very atmospheric, and well performed. During the Q+A session, did you manage to ask both actors anything, or were you still trying to get over his thrusting and gratuous gorgiousness?
David wasn't at the Q&A - I think he'd gone to the stage door and then probably just went back to wherever he's staying while he's in Stratford. And no, I didn't get a chance to ask a question.
Isn't it wonderful how a live performance reveals things in the script that you don't see just reading the words on the page?
Oh yes! It's why I always tell people to go and see Shakespeare live - 'cos he didn't write novels, he wrote plays - they're meant to be seen and they make so much more sense if you see the action that goes with the words.
I'm also quite jealous you got to go with lj friends. I never get to meet anyone. :(
