Big Finish Doctor Who Audios: Zagreus - Gary Russell and Alan Barnes

Since Zagreus is nearly four hours long and features a rather convoluted plot, this reaction post is slightly different. It's a "stream-of-consciousness" one - I made notes as I listened and I'm posting them here without making any attempt to offer a plot synopsis. (If you want one of those, check out this page on Wikipedia!)
Part of the fun of listening to this audio is trying to place all the familiar voices, many of whom are playing in unfamiliar roles - it's like a Who's Who of Big Finish audios as this story features nearly all of the Doctor and Companion actors who'd worked with Big Finish up to this point, although most of them don't play their usual roles. And as of 2008, this is the only audio drama in which Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann all appear together.
So far, so - um, yeah!! Barking is the word that springs to mind... But yay for the Brig - even if he is Evil!Brig!TARDIS
Hearing Eight begging for Charley's help is unnerving - reminded me of Ten telling Martha that he's scared in "42".
Mint sauce and onion gravy flavoured lollipop! o_O
Charley as a 6ft mouse in battle armour! Hee! And then yelling "BRIGADIER!" :D
Eight threatening to and then damaging the TARDIS is scary...
Sophie Aldred as Captain Duck is giving me even more giggles now...
And Bonnie Langford as Goldilocks - with the infamous scream!
OMG! Sylvester as Walton "Uncle Winky" Winkle... I'm grinning like a complete loon now!
Eight sounds heartbroken when he's telling Charley that he's no longer Zagreus and she doesn't believe him.
Evil!Brig!TARDIS: Why should I want to be Zagreus? Ravaging history like some demon lover? Scourging at breakfast, purging at lunchtime, pillaging at supper and burning heretics for afters?

Charley's sarcasm on the chess board - epic!!
Evil!Brig!TARDIS: "Don't mind if I torture you, do you Doctor? This is a dungeon after all."
Eight: No, no, carry on...

Evil!Brig!TARDIS: What is your idea of friendship, Doctor? I'd really like to know.
Eight: Friendship is caring more for someone more than you do yourself.
Evil!Brig!TARDIS: Fool. That's not friendship, that's love, blind, heedless love. Shall I tell you about friendship? Friendship is standing shoulder to shoulder in the face of life and death. Friendship is there when love's candle has burned and guttered. Friendship stays loyal when the enemy is at the gates. Friendship is never sacrificed, never surrendered.
- Oh that's lovely and then to be followed by the revelation of Evil!Brig!TARDIS' jealousy of Eight's love for Charley - well I'm not ashamed to admit it made me cry just a little...
The Hair Dryer of Rassilon, the Hoover of Rassilon, the Rassilon Patent Trouser Press? Heehee!!
Eight: You can summon her like that?
Rassilon: Like snapping my fingers.
- so now we know where Moffat got the idea from!

Romana & Leela & Charley vs Evil!Brig!TARDIS - Eee!!!
Leela: Tell the Doctor about this and I shall burst your eyeballs with my thumbs!
- Leela is a hoot and a half!
Leela: I don't see what the problem is, you all talk nonsense all the time
Eight: Absolute balderdash Leela, and you wouldn't have it any other way!
- so very true!!
Charley and Eight's farewell was heartbreaking... I was fighting tears...
And Eight snarling at Romana... No! Don't snarl at Romana!
