yay, I'm so happy! I'm finally coloring my hair a funky color again. our bi-annual reviews came around a couple weeks ago and I asked about haircolor and he was totally cool with it. I don't know why I wanted to wait until a review....maybe because I knew I'd get good marks and figured since he was seeing me in a good light that asking at the same ( Read more... )

I think that some managers worry more about hair because it's not something that can be covered up easily, like a tattoo. Plus, I think with more people in society getting tattoos (ok, maybe not full arm ones but at least having a tattoo), it's become less radical and more part of the main stream. Unnatural colored hair (not just dyed hair, but colors that hair doesn't normally come in, like blue) is still a bit unusual (except in certain areas, but even then it's seen as a bit more radical). Just my two cents. Glad you got to color yours blue! How'd your review go, btw? Glad you finally posted, too! :p

I guess thats true. but around here SOO many people have colored hair. even a ton of our customers do it (and several small children lol) so I never understood the logic when the other head guy said "if people want to see purple hair they can go to the capitol hill store" whatever man. four middle aged to older women customers have purple hair lol ( ... )
