Hurricane

I've been trying to ride it out, mentally. Not to think of the death and destruction. I should have remembered modern hurricanes are too violent to be ridden out in any sense. My heart goes out to you and yours. I'm usually quite the cold bitch when it comes to distant death and disaster, but this one has hit me hard for some reason. I've got a furious rant brewing about the lines growing at the gas pumps here (and probably everywhere), those who seem to care more about paying another $10 to fill up their SUV than they do about the people who have lost everything they've ever known. I wish there was something more I could do.
