I got a job! A real one with benefits and everything. And it's in the career field I want to be in and with a small company and what seems to be a good environment and everything!

I've been trying to ride it out, mentally. Not to think of the death and destruction. I should have remembered modern hurricanes are too violent to be ridden out in any sense. On Saturday, captainblur graduated and bkalee83 flew in.

Yesterday, captainblur and I got legally married.

There will be an extremely swank cocktail party style vow exchange and celebration in August for the social aspects.

Today was a bit better than yesterday, but I still spent hours and hours and hours comparing a list of numbers against numbers on individual pages, to the tune of 8000 individual pages. Pages of grade school standardized test questions. I felt better after the sobbing fit I had last night ( Read more... )
