Coraline is a beautiful film. It succeeds visually, humorously, and, well, frighteningly. The characters are complex without being overwrought. The plot is an excellent adventure story with some nice scares

I just read that they're making it into a musical. In fact, it's going to be as the Lucille Lortel Theatre.(Where we saw Fifty Words)

The musical is after the book, not the movie. I was so happy when I first heard about it.

Imagine the Coraline and the Other Mother throwing dishes and yelling at each other for two hours. It would certainly be an interesting take on the story. ;)
