Can't see anything that needed editing because I was savoring Yachiru's battle. She so pwns everyone (...maybe except Zaraki).

Nice. I like the contrast you set from living in Seireitei with living in Rukongai.

Brilliant! It was lovely to see Yachiru in action (or more to the point, seeing someone's reaction at seeing Yachiru in action). I also loved the throwaway bit in the beginning, about the way Renji still refers to the 11th as "we" rather than "they." That would stick in Byakuya's craw. Also, it's quite believable that he would think that removing Yachiru from a "bad influence" would be a good idea.

Thank you so much for the lovely birthday pressie! I enjoyed it muchly.

I really enjoyed seeing Byakuya's eyes get opened. And I hope he does some very hard thinking about how his attitudes and actions have shaped Rukia... whom I suspect would have flourished better under Kenpachi's care, frankly. Byakuya stifled her, and made her doubt her strength and herself...
