Terminator, plus a little SGA bit

On to the show!

  • OMG! No they didn't end the last scene right there! CAAAAAAMEROOOOOOON!
  • You know what I'm thinking at this point though? "How badly is she messed up, and what do they have to do to get her back to rights?" instead of "OMG, is she dead or alive!?" because I know full well she's a core member of the show and isn't going anywhere. Main ( Read more... )

Carson: "No wonder I've felt like a dog's breakfast ever since I got here." !!! ADB!

I saw you commented on my journal yesterday about the ADB reference (but I guess you erased it?) and said I (among others) hadn't mentioned it....however, I DID mention it in my review, so we're not slipping :P Always amusing when they put in fan nods.

Yeah, because I noticed you guys did actually mention it. But you bad, naughty things *abbreviated it*! I was using the firefox "find as you type" thing and kept typing dog, dog's, and breakfast, but didn't come up with anything. It later dawned on me to try the initials for it and what do you know, there it was! :(

I never got to see A Dog's Breakfast. :( I want to, so I'm going to have to find a way to do so sometime.

I never got to see A Dog's Breakfast. :(

Why not? :( You're in the US aren't you, so it's not a matter of release date (though the European releases are happening throughout this year). Netflix has it, Best Buy has it, Amazon and many other stores. DEFINITELY WORTH IT! :D

Yeah, I don't get the whole side story with Cheri. It will probably have something to do with the main storyline eventually, but I haven't spared any thoughts about how yet. Everything else is so much more interesting! They really went out with a bang! Really great episodes.

My mom and I both whooped when we heard Carson say "A dog's breakfast." We went to the first screening with DHew. :D It's a quirky little film. And YES YES YES, more Connor Trinneer is always a good thing. I really hope TPTB keep him around for awhile because he knows how to keep the team on their toes. ::cough::And I hope it will give people more canon with which to write Teyla/Michael fanfic::cough::

I bet Christopher was happy to get to show his own face again as Halling after all that time made up as Todd. ;)

Oh dear, my comment on your journal came out way too long. *blush* I can't help it though, SCC just excites me so much!

Yes, Cheri is definitely a side thought at the moment, because these two episodes were just made of win.

At first I thought I misheard the dog's breakfast line because I didn't see anyone talk about it! You and wraithfodder both didn't mention it and I thought for sure you would. Luckily though Kimberlyfdr *points above* did comment on it, so I'm not going crazy. Although I did rewatch that scene three times with the volume up just to make sure.

I bet he was happy not to go through all the makeup and prosthetics again! I get the feeling that some actors just dread that part of sci-fi. I know Ron Glass mentions on the Firefly DVD extras that he was so happy there were no prosthetics. :D I still want to see a Todd/Halling interaction though. *innocent whistle*

No worries! I welcome comments of any length and substance. ;)

You and wraithfodder both didn't mention it and I thought for sure you would.

And I didn't mention it because you did! ;) I didn't want to be repetitive, so if others bring up all the things I planned to say, I often opt out of discussing that show on my LJ and instead comment on their entries. :D And it keeps my own entries from going on forever (I already tend to edit out half of what I originally write before posting so as not to bore people to death).

And the Wraith often have to wear platform-type shoes, don't they? I bet he was really happy to get out of that! Todd/Halling would be really interesting and not nearly as unsettling as, say, Rod/Rodney.

Do they? I hadn't known that! Gotta do what you gotta do to make them taller than humans! Although I now have an image stuck in my head of Todd the Wraith dancing under a disco ball to Stayin' Alive, doing the finger pointing thing. *facepalm*
