[Hears the banging of guns being fired and flinches with each report. His natural instincts told him to run but he did the opposite and ran right into the door with a thud which caused him to fall backward on his rear end. He stood up, grabbed his hat and opened the door with widened eyes.]
*Had the thud been about a second later, Nick wouldn't have heard it. But he does just before firing the shot, meaning he also noticed Willy's entrance. A bit confused about the whole 'run in to door, thud' thing, he straightens and scratches at his head with the barrel of the Sig*
Uh. No. Just a shooting range. You always run in to doors like that?
Ffff Rin is super late ;_;impromptuqueenOctober 14 2009, 21:06:10 UTC
Yeah, Nick disappearing, not so good!
After all the time that's passed, though, Serena's got a little lax about always knowing where he is. So instead of freaking out when he doesn't appear after a couple hours, she simply goes to look for him.
It takes thirty minutes or so but she finds the shooting car and giggles. Oh yes, of course he's happy.
"Good job." She says, watching him from near the cars entrance. Serena is not stupid enough to prod a man with a gun. Or hug him from behind, like she kind of wants to do.

*It's probably good Serena is so thoughtful about that sort of thing, because Nick really is in the zone and likely would have jumped if some one touched him.
Speaking does get his attention, though, and he takes the ear guards off, turning to grin at her*

Whew! Glad it's not dinosaurs.
[Sheepish chuckle.]

Only when I'm nervous. It's saved me from being mauled before though I can't explain why.

*Here, have a very confused, slightly amused eyebrow quirk*

[Yeah, Nick? You know one of those targets you just shot up was Yuri's, right?]
...
...it's generally frowned upon to steal another person's target, you realize.

What the hell did you think the other shots were, then?

It's a big range, dude.
*And he goes right back to reloading his Sig*

Haven't lost my touch yet.

She walked up to him and gives him a one armed hug. She looks at the Sig curiously, and then asks.
"When did you learn to shoot?"
