[Hears the banging of guns being fired and flinches with each report. His natural instincts told him to run but he did the opposite and ran right into the door with a thud which caused him to fall backward on his rear end. He stood up, grabbed his hat and opened the door with widened eyes.]

Whew! Glad it's not dinosaurs.

*Had the thud been about a second later, Nick wouldn't have heard it. But he does just before firing the shot, meaning he also noticed Willy's entrance. A bit confused about the whole 'run in to door, thud' thing, he straightens and scratches at his head with the barrel of the Sig*

Uh. No. Just a shooting range. You always run in to doors like that?

Practice is good too. Have you tried to shot one target than the other in succession? I suppose you have since you are an expert but it would mix things up a little, huh?

Done that a couple of times. What's difficult is skipping every other one.

Ooh, now that sounds like a challenge. Hey!! I bet I could help. How about I play William Tell and put the apple on top of my head and you can shoot it off!? I've always wanted to try that, being the target but not the target but a target stand.

Can you teach me? In case I need it? I can handle a rifle just fine, but I'm not too good with hand guns. I would like to learn!

Er... I guess. Never really been that great of a teacher. 'sides, all the stuff I've got is pretty heavy duty.

Tell ya what. Somewhere around here there's an armory. That CSI guy told me about it. If you can find that and get a Beretta .22, it's a deal.
