My missing Social Security card is missing no longer! Turns out I had put it in a safe (i.e., unfindable, unrememberable) place.

Just yesterday I took a stroll down Dot Gov Avenue, looking for info on how to get a replacement card. Answer: with no small amount of annoyance and expense. Now I don't have to! :D

heh, we have a saying in our family, that a thing has "gone to be with (my) Mom's high school diploma" whenever something vanishes off the face. It's the largest and most significant item we've ever completely lost. :D
