So I just spoke to the woman who is the president of the foundation in Guatemala, and they are VERY interested in having me come down for a while! She is flying down to Chimaltenango tomorrow, and will have a meeting on Tuesday with the clinic staff. So, I am employed through Halloween. Uncomfortably so, my employer-doctors have tried to sell at least three different fabrications to explain our departure, each more ridiculous than the last, and they won't be talking to us too much in the offices, etc. So that's fun. I am so despondent. I am not sure how I am going to get through all this stuff at work, I am on the edge of a knife.
