Snow days and sick days

Tuesday night about 11 inches or so of snow fell on my town. It's not the record, mind you. 5th largest snowfall in recorded history is all. But there is a ton of snow, and yesterday nothing was moving. Today, the transit trains and buses are doing much better, but I'm still recovering from my cold last week. When I ventured outside this morning,

When the air is breathtakingly cold, it can sometimes help to breathe through a scarf of some kind, such as acrylic or fleece.

I'm getting there, very, very slowly. I do have a ski mask that I wear under my helmet, so there is that. I just don't like the combo of cough and ice!
