Yeah. Not only is it culturally wrong and grates on the ears, but it completely removes the significance when someone in the original is called by their first names. *sighs*

And I think Konomi-sensei's been taking singing lessons, too :-) He does look really good in what he wears...but Suwabe can make ANYTHING look good, which is a very rare ability :-)
