I think... you deserve to go to go watch the setting sun over some kind of body of water and bask in the glory of your achievements. Plus watching sunsets fall into the category of romance so you can definitely bask in the glory of your fanfic achievement.

Also, you work hard - everyone loves you... Now go win the position you want :D

Btw, I approve of the usage of the word 'forgo' in your entry. That is a winning word my friend.
