Sorry for the belated post about the trailer that came out 2 days ago-- i was on the other side of the world (Asia) dealing with business... but of course i managed to watch asap on this BRAND NEW HOBBIT TRAILER
( Read more... )
I'm looking forward to this film so much! The more HOBBIT scenes the better. Bilbo is the center of the story for me, but I do adore Richard Armitage's Thorin.
I was puzzled by the bats too, but finally dug up this passage from The Hobbit. Maybe this is where the idea came from...
"Halt!" cried Gandalf, who appeared suddenly, and stood alone, with arms uplifted, between the advancing dwarves and the ranks awaiting them. "Halt!" he called in a voice like thunder, and his staff blazed forth with a flash like the lightning. "Dread has come upon you all! Alas! it has come more swiftly than I guessed. The Goblins are upon you! Bolg of the North is coming. O Dain! whose father you slew in Moria. Behold! the bats are above his army like a sea of locusts. They ride upon wolves and Wargs are in their train!"
Hi Mews! Hope you've been feeling better! Yes, it's great to anticipate the movie...especially since it's the last Middle-earth movie.
Emotional parts are going to be a great driver of the story. The two trailers definitely attested to this being a massive emotional, stirring movie. The quotes they inserted in the trailer sound so good!
Gorgeous trailer, some very amazing quotes and scenes in there!O.o I am planning to see it opening day, like I did the other two-probably all alone again, sigh, so no one to scream with!!O.o
