Nah..she seems like a casual-ish fan more than anything...i think i'm the "more" obsessed one there who's written fanfic... she didn't even know fanfic existed! :P

Thank you for your congrats but i must say, that the RotK one is my least favorite theatrical poster out of the 3... that is why i bought the five feet RotK cast poster instead first. :p

Was the restaurant at all hobbity? *curious*
No, unfortunately not. ... just a background collage of mountains and sheep and cows and that's it. :p Heren IStarion bought some Gondorian flag and swords and shields though. :)

That sounds like a great evening! There's nothing like that round here, which is why I've felt so lucky to be able to go to ORC and ELF for the last couple of years. Those weekends have been some of the best weekends of my life, meeting so many online friends and other Tolkien obsessors and being able to squee freely! There's so much love for the books and movies and surrounding world at these things that it's just a joy to *be* there.

Thank goodness for LJ!

And, I love LOTR Trivial Pursiut. No one round here will play it with me now, though. :( For some odd reason, they think I might beat them. ;)

So true. ::reminisces about ELF in ORlando:: that was really great, so much fun and yes, very very memorable fro me--were you there this past August?. :)

I would love to play LotR Trivial Pursuit with you! i have both versions so i'm ready when you are! ;)

Hey I have that poster, in fact I have two. One I bought, then one I got from Anthony at the anniversary celebration. (He sure is nice, huh.) But I never noticed 'Eowyn and Merry and Pippin weren't there'. *blush* Frodo's presence is just too commanding! :D

And I would hardly call you 'lazy' my sweet co-mod! That forum just doesn't have enough participation to keep us motivated. :( But maybe your advertising will help! :D Hey, do you think we could draw all of your flist that commented above? :p

Please go to Toronto--now i'm considering it as well seeing that the programming is so wonderful. ELF is going to be like ELF in ORlando so i'm not sure if i want to go to one like that again. I'm craving scholarly discussions. :P (being that i *am* a Tolkien Scholar ...or wannabe one ;)

I might want to be Sam but i'm not sure... you be Frodo and i'll be Sam? ;)

Ha--i was rereading some comments he left at the Heren IStarion boards and he is so anti-movie it's ridiculously funny... i can say more but i'm just not *that* anti-movie and anti-PJ... as they are... Anthony was cool...would love to meet him again just to chat Tolkien. :)
