esteven  suggested way back on day 10 of the meme, that a new challenge ought to be posted, and I should be the one to do it, being all new and shiny to this fandom. And, here we are!
It's 8 pm here on the 30th, the 30 day meme is just about over, and so without further ado:

I kinda said, foolishly, to esteven that I would not post this challenge unless:
A. I found out how old Stephen actually was in relation to Jack.
B. I would take up the challenge myself, put my money where my mouth was, pick up my sword, get my game on, et cetera.

Well, okay, I now accept that the answer to (A) is unknowable, except he's about the same as Jack, but has no birthday. As for (B), you all and several other friends are responsible in many ways...in a good way, I don't blame anyone! MUCH. Fandom is such a rabbit hole...and I fetched up here.

Needless to say, I decided in a swell foop to learn Photoshop and my Wacom tablet at the same time.

This is deep, dyed in the wool, navy blue-coloured in-joke for those who know and love the books, and also some related fan art.

And Baby!Jack would be chubby and so hungry all the time he'd nibble on someone's hat. Love it love it love it.

God and he's utterably adorable as a wee little babe, too. (The little anchor on his gown - so cute!)

Now what did wee Stephen gnaw on? Hmmm...

I can't see Stephen chewing on much, he was probably a tiny baby and huge eyed waif-looking boy. I wonder if he had to do any swine-herdinh himself in Ireland?

I have been following comments, but am steadfastedly refusing to skip ahead in books... Not to worry, will catch up eventually!

No, am not fast at all. About a week after I decided to do the challenge, I thought about which of the many ideas I had, and decided on that one...and the damn thing still took a week...I would go to work, crying to my coworker, and she would say things like, "Learn to use LAYERS," and I would try again.

Damn this fandom for making me learn cool things!
