Another newbie

I think I'll take advantage of the others popping in to say that I'm new here as well.

I have read some of the books, but as I have a hard time keeping events in order, anything I write is likely to not have a specific time place.

Anyhow, on to drabble!

I feel you slide behind me as I focus on the Mozart. Caress with the bow just so, like a lover to my 'cello. Your breath tickles my ear. My cheeks burn.

You are so unself-conscious, my dear, and don't even catch yourself humming along. The bass notes send arpeggios down my spine and I sit up straighter, caught between my two loves.

I reach the second allegro with a start; you have added your violin's plaintive notes around the mellower 'cello's.

Content to harmonise, I give you the melody to you, soul. What will you do with mine?
