...ROTFLMAO.

That first one reminds me of this article Relle showed me about white American kids complaining about Asians taking up their slots in colleges and universities because what they didn't want to actually study to, you know, actually qualify and just wanted to party and have fun instead.

Oh, what the hell, man. That's like 99% of my high school right there. "You mean I wasn't accepted to so-and-so? But all the Indian/Asian/other minority students got in? REVERSE RACISM." And then i just had to be all, "Well, uh, look here, kid... maybe it's because their GPA is above a 4.0 and yours is a 2.6."

BUT THIS KID'S THOUGHT PROCESS WAS GENIUS, LAENA. Apparently, there is no motivation to succeed in a socialist country because ~the government owns everything~ and ~your path is predetermined~, so people just don't give a damn. I thought the professor was going to kick me out for laughing so hard, lmfao....

SMH.

Lmfao I know, right? And I'm sure she was dying on the inside, but she's one of those people who's like, "Everyone has their opinion, so don't belittle them for it!" I couldn't help it, though; he was directly behind me, I heard every word he was mumbling, and I cracked the fuck up.

Yes. Really. (I am linking this instead of the actual article since the actual article was dumb and brainhurty.)

OH MY GOD. This kid I know tried to tell me that the UK was a straight-up democracy a few months ago, and that their government was just like ours. I had to actually sit down and explain what a constitutional monarchy was, all the while resisting my urge to punch him in the face.

But I'm glad I'm not alone in dealing with this tomfoolery. /brofists
