I must say that I'm enjoying being legal. Not even for the drinking really, although that's part of it. Mostly for the fact that when I see a poster for a show that looks fun/want to go out with people/need booze for cooking, I can do it. It is immensely freeing to not have to stop and think about this stuff, but just be able to go "Sure, of course ( Read more... )

So I appear to have reached the "I can cook bacon whenever I want" phase of living alone, although in my case, it's spinach and onions cooked in bacon fat with feta bits. I don't even know, it's delicious. Also I kind of fail at making dinner like a responsible adult; the most involved thing I've done so far is a mass quiche-bake.

As in, the one I've had for the past week that at one point had me trying to vomit out my lower GI tract, I swear to god. I had forgotten exactly how shitty being really sick is, I always manage to forget; probably so I don't just kill myself and save the bacteria the trouble.

 Annnnd this is why I gave up on trying to track down the authors of works I like years ago. Now I feel bad.
