Agreed. If someone is making sandwiches with it I generally have to leave.

I'm really sorry about that potato salad about 17 years ago. Oh, crikey, you are old!

Happy birthday! :)

I completely agree with you on mayonnaise; it's one of the few foods where there so far has been absolutely nothing that contains it that I've liked. (Unlike, say, sour cream, which I won't eat as a food topping but which is in some foods I like.)

I agree with you there. I don't like to see big blobs of sour cream on things but it can add to the flavor of stuff. My mom makes good mashed potatoes with it.

Happy birthday, by the way. I feel similarly about cilantro (& coriander, what with them being the same thing). A vile herb that tastes like soap. Not fit for human consumption. Did you end up doing anything fun?

Heh. Damien and I tried a different pho place of the half-dozen in the u-district about 2 weeks ago. (He is a pho fiend. I didn't know if I'd have it again after that time with you in London but now I have it about once a week.) Even though I like cilantro they went totally overboard at this new place. The broth tasted like dishwater, eeeewww...
