What's so hard about doing a cut for spoilers?

we saw last night's ep then so no worries for us, but it's genuinely difficult to scroll past a non-cut page and not glimpse something of what's written there.

I take it that River couldn't be there earlier because she was already there as a baby, albeit as a flesh-version. Perhaps it would cause time problems or summat.

I agree about the Doctor's reaction - great stuff! Am not particularly keen on the reveal itself though, it's a bit icky or something. On the other hand it does mean that Amy and Rory's badassness comes thru in their kid.

I thought the space-base set was fine - although my idea of what space bases look like was probably formed by Star Wars, where they tend to look like industrial sites with big empty hangars anyway.

I've just watched it, and it came over as all show in place of substance - maybe I'm just becoming jaded in my old age. Once I saw the name 'Melody Pond' the big reveal was inevitable. There have just been too many coincidences, and it has been a possibility considered on and off for a while..
