Merlin! That was FUN! Surfing, water, wet t-shirt contests, laughing, friends! We should do this more often! Water slides should be a part of everyday school activities!

First I'm buried under mountains of assignments -okay I'll admit it's mostly because I put a lot of them off for so long- and then St. Patrick's Day rolls around and...Merlin, the colour green can burn your eyes out.

Is it just me or has there been an exceptionally large scorpion wandering the castle?

I think I'm losing my mind. Or finding it...whichever is more scary.

Ice cream tastes so much better in the winter. It doesn't melt as quickly so it stays nice and sweet. I abtained quite a bit from the kitchens a little bit ago.

And yes, I'm willing to share.

I think I still have a box of chocolate chip bisquits too. I'd have to check though.

Yesterday I built a snowman. Today I built a snow-woman. Anyone want to go outside with me to build a snow-justice to marry them and then a snow-baby? I'm terribly bored and it is rather amusing.

Lily Evans have the best family ever! Muggle technology is so interesting. And her mum makes the best hot cocoa on the coldest nights.

Apparently my holidays were great. How were all of yours?

I'm glad mum let me stay for the ball. She really wanted me to come home after those attacks, but I assured her the Aurors here were doing everything they could to keep us safe. I don't understand why everyone thinks their assignments are disturbing. Sure it may not be someone you're used to, but that's the whole point. It's about unity and we all need it with everything going on outside the castle. I honestly think this is going to be the most interesting thing of the year.
