It's odd seeing Gary mentioned in someone else's journal, but it does my heart well to see it. I'm glad he's getting out and doing things with people.

And to take a brief moment for the whole awesome-double-rainbows thing, WOW! I would've been totally spellbound by it, trying to imprint it on my memory and babbling constantly about it all at once.

And, just wondering, what kind of a play is this that it actually got Gary to talk (I hope not too grumpily) about his Catholic childhood?

Living with Gary I've been learning all sorts of unexpected things about that Catholic-educated, saxephone-playing fellow. 'Tis good.

You should have seen the show he was in. No chance you could scam a car and two days off and make a flying trip up here for tomorrow night's gala performance, is there?

Yeah right. I'm sure he and the others were amazing though. I've been hearing all about it for the past few weeks and I'm sure I'll get the full (five hour) report when I call him some time this weekend.

wow. that's really damn cool. somehow i thought they didn't actually *have* ends. i've heard that from a plane, rainbows look like circles... but i've yet to see it myself.
