that depends on what's being fought over.

One could argue the war over religion hasn't and probably will never end.

Does the "war" over religion involve armies and battles, or is it merely theoretical?

A fair bit of both, I would say.

At the moment, everything is... mostly calm.

I see. And how long has it been since the last notable war?

over religion and belief? There's probably one going on as we speak.

If you're not certain then it probably isn't notable.

that first thing to come to mind would be world War II. Though it wasn't directly a religious was a bit of religion did come into play, though mostly race.

The last war to have happened is the united states 'war on terrorism' though it isn't technically a war, their congress never formally declared war.

You had a world war over race?

Yes, actually, as shameful as it is, racism isn't all that uncommon.

During World War II there was a man in Charge of the country Germany, Adolf Hitler, he had planned to wipe out all the Jewish and then other races so that the Aran, which he believed to be perfect, would be the only one left.

But basing an entire war around it is just ridiculous.

How odd. Was the attack provoked?

Germany slowly started to take over Europe, I would think so.

Ah, I see. So it was a matter of conquest.

It usually is, but it's the little things that spark the idea.

That situation sounds a bit like something that happened towards the beginning of our war.

War is a horrible thing, though on some occasions necessary. See Hitler.

Now, are you saying that his campaign was necessary, or that the subsequent war against him was?
