This was a really good story. I didn't find the timeline confusing at all--it made the story work. And even if no one else is, I'm curious about the scenarios behind the quotes.

I might write them up. A few of those quotes are from half-written stories that I've abandoned, so maybe I'll give them another shot. Who knows? ;)

Oh, that's terrific -- some great insights I hadn't thought of, such as Sirius' attitude, and Dumbledore's reaction to Harry. And the scene with the ring fighting back with the figures of Ariana and Harry was a really good idea. The second-person style works excellently here.
