I think this is coming along very nicely. Their snarkiness is so endearing. You're doing a great job. Keep it up!!! OH! MORE PLEASE!!!

Yay, another chapter. :) I loved it, again. I snickered a bit at Draco while he was trying to avoid making any sort of contact with Muggles at first and again when he started to panic at almost getting lost. I loved their interactions - they were very amusing and if I may say so, adorable. Haha. I am happy to see that they are starting to have somewhat of a truce, although I am sure one of them will do something to annoy the hell out of the other before too long. I am also eager to see what turns Ron and Hermione's relationship will take as well as what other characters will come up (Ginny? Pansy? Hmmm...) in the coming chapters. Keep up the great work!

I just thought that seemed like something he would try to do. In my mind, his sole experience with Muggles is the time spent in King's Cross going to and from Platform 9 3/4. I was a little nervous about having the whole lost section, but it was a good way to make them have physical contact without it being either malicious or sweet, just necessary.

Yeah, I don't see a truce between these two lasting for long, especially with Hermione having Harry set the elf magic trace on his house without Draco's knowledge. That little issue still needs to be resolved.

There will be more of Hermione/Ron since it is relevant. There will also be other characters showing up. I can guarantee Ginny, though I'm not sure when she'll show up. I can also guarantee two others, and I know when they'll show, but I want to keep their identities quiet until they appear.

I think you need A britpicker, You are getting a lot of details wrong. The ones that stood out most were the iced tea in burger king- we don't have that over here, and saying first grade etc, Which isn't the schooling system. I think there were more but I can't remember them. If you'd like, I could check them over for you before you post? My email address is loz.James@ntlworld.com if you want to, but you don't have to. Apart from that, great chapter. I loved the stuff about dracos opinion of muggles in particular.

That's fine, but I've already apologized twice for being American and I don't think I should have to keep apologizing for it. I know that I've gotten more Brit stuff right than some of the other authors I've read, and I have at least done some research on the internet to pick out correct locations in Canterbury and the average temperatures and stuff. One of the sites I post to, Hawthorne & Vine, doesn't consider Americanisms errors, so neither do I since I am American and included a warning in Chapter 1. Instead, I think I'll just add it to the disclaimer. Sorry, but I don't like turning my writing over to other people ( ... )

Okay, I went back and fixed a couple of things. It's now water instead of iced tea, because I'm assuming you can water at any restaurant the world over, unless the water's unsafe. I changed first grade to her having student taught year 3, and I changed sneakers to trainers. You didn't mention that one, but I remember JK Rowling describing Harry's shoes as trainers. I don't want to change too much more for the simple fact that when I read a Harry Potter story that gets really into the Britisms, I only understand about half of it and most of my readers are American.

I loved this! Interesting to see Hermione's differing relationships with Ron, Harry, & Draco. She seems to almost be three different people, yet still the same Hermione. All three just seem to bring out a different side of her personality, which I truly enjoy.

Loved her scenes with Harry, the flashbacks were wonderful. Any background info you want to give us on Harry/Luna, in relation to themselves and the others, is much appreciated. I like learning more about them.

The Hermione/Draco scenes were fantastic from start to finish. I'm very curious to see who the person is that's helping Draco and how Hermione will react when she finds out. Nice to also see his journey into the Muggle world and the discovery that they're the same as wizards. Definitely an eye-opener for him, so I'm really looking forward to more of those scenes. Hmm...seems that the attraction is already beginning between them, but they're fighting it with all they've got. I LOVE IT!! UST is so delicious. :D

Can't wait for those Muggle lessons!

I think that's how it works in life. We adapt so that we're a little different with every person in our lives, but there's always a common thread through it all that is just essentially who we are, no matter who we're with.

There will be further background info on Harry and Luna. I also intend to cover what happened with Harry and Ginny, since even ignoring epilogue, they were well on the way to reconnecting at the end of the story. Ginny will actually be appearing shortly; she is still part of the group. There's just been no reason to include her yet.

Thank you! I enjoy writing their scenes. That revelation will appear soon. There will be more Muggle world; that is part of his rehabilitation. Also, don't forget that he has to get a job in the future. The development between them is starting, as you've noted, but they're not going down easily.

Muggle lessons start next chapter.
