To appeal to the "edgy" cellphone-texting teenager demographic, apparently. No, I am serious.

You must have missed the kerfuffle when many Eastern European fans pointed out it means "syphilis" in Polish, and as a metaphor "gross gunk, infected acne, something ruined and messed up".
