Even when he doesn’t need it, Sakura refuses to let him slide that easily. Once finished with her duties, she always finds him - not that he tries to hide - and joins him, first running an inspecting hand over his arms and middle and down his legs to seek out any injuries he might be concealing from her. It’s a rhythm they never break when they meet, made irregular only by the sometimes absent, sometimes present wounds, but the pattern picks back up when she criticizes him for being too stupid and proud to admit when he needs help. It’s one constant he can count on to be there every time he makes it back; even if he’s only supporting her claims of his insufferable stubbornness, the repetition is a touch of the familiar, something his life now sorely lacks

aa, you didn't have to use all of them, you can choose whichever ones you wanted. three out of four is perfectly fine.

Other days - most days - are mind-numbingly slow, spent in the agonizing state of waiting and not knowing, made all the worse because she can’t even busy her hands to try and distract herself.

Other times, Sakura greets him with a touch that he momentarily and more subtly returns: a brush or light grasp of her hand, occasionally her forehead to his.

This is Beautiful. I loved it from the begginning to end. Honestly, you nailed it perfectly. I loved how you kept the characters in character. And I definatly squeed when Naruto told Sasuke to tell Sakura what everhe wanted to say to her by himself. It was very enjoyable to read. Thank You so much!
