Title: Picking Flowers
Fandom: Original
Rating: PG
Warnings: none
Summary: We don’t choose our destinies. But what if we could?
Notes: Written for the April week 3 challenge at
brigits_flame, theme “flourish”. That sound you hear is me fervently praying that the week 4 theme isn’t “garden”, because if it is, I’m screwed. :P
…
(
The garden seems to stretch out forever in all directions, flowers and trees of all shapes, sizes, colors, scents, spanning out all around her. )

I really love it though :)
I enjoyed how you wrote the beginning, and the fairy was very cool! (It reminds me a little of the web-comic Misfile) The flowers were an awesome way to look into the future, and I loved the paradox of how if you choose a future the flower has to die; all the other possibilities of your life have to die for the one future as well.
I'm leaving to go back to school in a few mins, so I will see you soon!!! <3

The beginning was a lot more visual than the way I usually write, but I wanted to just kind of throw you guys into the setting. As for the fairy--she actually started out being kind of spazzy and Doctor Who-esque and then toned herself down. :P
Thanks lovely!

(I should really stop pretending I make sense. XD)
The idea is fantastic, and you executed it beautifully. :D
Ha, I wrote a piece to "garden" for something else earlier this week -- here's hoping that's not the prompt we get! XD
