Huh. You know I don't think I ever really looked at it like that before--with the whole hair cutting thing after a trauma. But come to think of it, that IS when I tend to get haircuts. O.o Good job with the psychoanalysis there, Tracy. And I love that Chloe called Sam her best girlfriend and how Sam didn't protest it. LOL. So cute. Poor Dean is just so broken he just doesn't even know what to do. Can't wait for more!

*nods* Hair has got to be the thing that we change the most. And Chloe has changed hers more than most. I think in the seven seasons of Smallville, Lana's hair hasn't changed, and Chloe's hair is in a constant state of evolution.

Chloe's back to the pixie look. I kind of liked that look, simply for the fact that I was awed that Allison could pull it off.

Chloe and Dean may still need to work things out, but I'm glad Chloe has Sam.

I think she had it for only two or three episodes. Then TPTB decided that they didn't like it on her, and they made her wear extensions.

I, personally, didn't like it. I thought it made her face look round. My favorite haircut is the bob that she wore in later season four. Second favorite is the one she has now.

I'm really glad that Chloe gave Dean the chance to take the lead on this. I love how well she already knows him even though they haven't been *ahem* intimate yet. The fact that their relationship is strong without that is what makes this story so great.

Physical intimacy dosen't always equal *knowing* someone. In a lot of cases, it could be a hinderance. Chloe has gotten the chance to know Sam and Dean both really quick by virtue of spending the past nine months in their constant presence, so she's learned more about them than she might have if the three of them hadn't been living in each other's pockets.

Given the way Dean in canon enjoys the physical side of life, If he and Chloe had hopped right into bed, it probably would have been a mistake. Because given Chloe's tendency to run, she probably would have split the second the relationship hit a rocky patch.

Here, the three of them are glued togeahter pretty tightly. When Dean and Chloe do decided to explore that side of their relationship, it'll be because they're ready to. Not just because they're in a moment.

Also, I totally identify with the haircut. I broke up with a guy I had dated for two years. He wouldn't let me cut or dye my hair for that entire period of time- my hair was halfway down my back and brownish-red. Three days after the break-up, I had it cut chin-length and dyed blonde. Oh yes. Control, indeed.

And it looks very nice. I started growing my hair out when I became engaged. two years later, I could sit on my hair. I announced my intention to cut it, and my husband cringed.

But when I came back with it cut and straitened, he couldn't keep from touching it. He liked it so much. XD

Poor Chloe, she hates her hair, and Dean's reaction didn't help. He of the foot-shaped mouth had better do some backpeadling, lest he find himself in the doghouse.

Aw, Sam is Chloe's bestest girlfriend. I LOVE IT!!! Also, the whole minion-henchman talk was hysterically funny.

The talks between Dean and Sam and Chloe and Dean were good as well. It felt like there was just the tiniest bit of progress made.

*nods* Yep. Sam is minion material, while Dean is just one of life's henchmen.

A little progress here. Hopefully a lot by the end.
