post cleanse day 3

By now I'm up to veggie soup with rice.  And lots of fruits and veggies.  Also having hummus with the veggies, which is healthier than Ranch dip.  I made a nice pasta salad with garbanzo beans for lunch tomorrow ( Read more... )

Thanks! I really think I developed the discipline from years of doing body for life. And although I didn't see really dramatic changes, I think I'm thinking about doing shorter cleanses periodically, just because it's supposed to be healthier.

1. Im a horrible comment'er.
2. Hummus is amazing especially if its prepared correctly. I love garlic and herb hummus with saltless pretzels!!
3. Detoxifying on long car trips... do NOT envy you at all : D

Would you recommend the cleanse?? Does it seem worth it? Bc Ive been meaning to try it.. but I always worried about the results. lol

Do I recommend the Cleanse? That sort of depends on what your goals are. And right now I'm still trying to assess whether it was worth it.

I'm not sure. Before I got started, I read a lot of pie-in-the sky assessments on what it would or could do. Clear up allergies, help relieve any number of medical conditions, give you more energy, help with weight loss.

So far, the weight loss is all I've noticed. I don't have more engergy and I still seem to have allergies. The goal for me wasn't to lose weight. So I'm kind of underwhelmed by it all.
