Dean leaned over the sink while brushing his teeth when Chloe cleared her throat. He turned to look at her with an inquisitive expression; sparing just a minute to admire the way she looked in nothing but his old shirt.
“Dean?” She looked uncomfortable. “Could you get out of here for five minutes?”
He raised an eyebrow in response, before spitting out a mouthful of toothpaste. “Why?”
“I need to use the facilities, and I would rather you weren't around,” Chloe said.
He chuckled in response. “After everything we've been through together, you're worried that I'm going to watch you pee?” He grinned lazily at her.
She replied with a disgruntled frown. “You know, some things should just remain a mystery.”
“Okay,” he held his hands in the air. “Okay, I'm going.” With a final chuckle, he rinsed his mouth, sat his toothbrush next to hers and left the bathroom.
Out in the sitting room of the giant suite that Oliver Queen had rented for their group while they worked on the Mexico operation, Sam was reading over some arty book that he'd picked up down in the gift shop.
“Did Sarah get out okay?” Dean asked as he kicked Sam's sneakered feet off the table. Sometime last night, one of Sarah's contacts called about some problem with Bela Talbot. The antiques dealer hadn't elaborated, but whatever happened was enough to get her panties in a bunch. She'd taken off this morning on the Queen Industries jet to try and stop the mercenary.
“Yeah, she said she'd call us when we're stateside,” Sam said.
As Dean sat on the other end of the couch, a thought occurred to him.
“Hey Sam? You lived with Jessica for a while, didn't you?”
“Yeah?” Sam cocked his head sideways. “Why?”
“Is it normal for girls to be weird about some things?”
“What kind of things?” Sam asked.
“Girl things,” Dean said.
“I guess,” Sam shrugged. “Most girls like to keep some air of mystery about them.”
“Well did Jess throw you out of the bathroom when she needed to go?”
“Oh no,” Sam shook his head. “I'm not discussing this with you.”
“Why not?” Dean grinned.
“Because it's Jess. And her bathroom habits are just not something I want to discuss with you.”
Dean looked down and chuckled. “Knew you were a big girl.”
Sam rolled his eyes and turned back to his book. "Whatever, dude."
